Well folks, tomorrow marks the end of yet another year, and we find ourselves eagerly anticipating a fresh year which we will likely begin eager to tackle new aspirations, ambitious hopes, exciting dreams, and optimistic resolutions. We each have our own goals we hope to reach, and ideally we all seek to attain our ambitions as we progress through the new year.
Reebok Spartan Race is also gearing up for a new year filled with excitement and fresh innovation. Placing an incredibly successful 2014 in the books, they now look ahead with some interesting new initiatives tucked up their sleeves. If you have yet to hear, I’d like to provide a few inside details into the exciting things to come in 2015. Here’s the dirt from Spartan, news you are guaranteed to be excited about!
- Training for your Trifecta in 2015? You can now purchase a 12-month season pass which provides you with some pretty awesome perks! For just $549.99, you will not only have access to run any Reebok Spartan Race (any heat, elite included!), but you’ll also receive free bag check as well as certain discounts on hotels, rental cars, and more!
- On March 6th, 2015 Reebok Spartan Race is taking to the high seas for the first-of-its-kind, insanely unique, 3-night OCR Cruise! Hosting a Caribbean Cruise which boasts the luxuries of a traditional cruise, this trip ups the ante by providing the added twist of an extraordinary race located on a private island, as well as a day of play on the beaches of Great Stirrup Kay, Bahamas! Space is limited, so sign up now! This is definitely a bucket list event you don’t want to miss!
- Not only is the Cruise adding some spice to the 2015 race lineup, but it was recently announced that this coming year’s Reebok Spartan Race UltraBeast will be changing locations for the first time since its inception. Traditionally held at the birthplace of Spartan Race in Killington, Vermont, next October this epic event will head west to Lake Tahoe. UltraBeast veterans and newcomers alike will be challenged by a whole new challenge of terrain and climate, and this race is guaranteed to be epic. Pre-registration is now available, so if you are ready to take on the challenge get your name on the list today!

I’m going for my trifecta this year. Last year was my first Spartan – I did the Miami Super! (Shoot, who starts with a sprint, skip to the super!) I was so scared up to the day of the event (rightfully so!) but I finished and now want to push myself even more this year!!
